Let's see those bachelor pad shelters!!

Anything, everything, big, small, upcyced, fancy, basic, plain.....whatever you have.

I'm looking for shelter ideas that I can make to be in a permanent bachelor pad and/or grow out pen. My girls already have a decent coop and I plan to add another pen next to their run. Just need a simple shelter for up to a dozen birds in warmer weather and maybe 3 or 4 during the winter months. We don't get much snow here, nor are the winters very harsh at all.

Materials will be what I already have on hand, or I'll upcycle something, and it will be in a fully enclosed run/pen. Not sure if I will attach it to the side of the barn, which the pen will be against, or if it will be freestanding.

Any and all ideas welcome.

There’s a roost bar you can’t see that is being blocked by the top part. We kept it simple. (Got tired of painting so I stopped haha) We are not permanently keeping it in front of my house, I’m moving it but that’s where I painted it.

I will be fencing them off with a dog kennel chain link fence and topping it with a net. We wanted to keep it simple and breathable and easy to clean.
