State Agriculture Dept. personnel, State Vet, faculty from the state's land grant university who specialize in poultry, 4H & FFA for your county, local poultry clubs (any of the above should have an idea of whom to contact, APA or ABA judges in your state, permaculture organizations, that's off the top of my head. For a slightly different perspective, find city council members from nearby cities who have legalized chickens and would be willing to give their perspectives.
