Hey.... My mom wants to let our ducks go at our lake property because she says their too messy to be living with the chickens and we don't have enough room for them....

ie massive droppings and very messy with water as chickens prefer drier conditions.

Do you think they could survive without us being domesticated all their lives? (2 months old)

We would bring food out and nesting boxes.....

What do you think? I just want them to be happy.

I would think they would still need food every day... It doesn't sound like your lake property is close enough to do that. Why don't you give them to someone who can give them a good home?

They're two months old with no mother. They've only learned to wait for food to be delivered, and they have a ready made safe place to sleep. They have no survival skills. Leaving them to the not-so-tender mercies of nature is a death sentence.

post an ad on craigslist, or freecycle someone will come along and give them a good home.

never never release a pet into the wild!

you may want to look in your area for a rescue too

Absolutely. Post them on Craigslist as "free to good home" Then you can choose who gets them... Much less cruel than feeding them to the wolves, so to speak.
