LF Cochin- No egg songs?

For those of you who have laying Lf cochins do they give you the egg song??

I’ve recently realized that of my 20+ birds, only my 3 BO’s sing the egg song after laying. In fact I don’t even hear my cochins other than the light noise a few make. They used to squawk & be loud as babies but they’re so quiet.

Is that normal?

I agree it's individually based. I have 14 different breeds of chickens (including Cochin) and a couple do the egg song while the rest don't really make any noise at all.

I have bantam breeds and I never hear them.
