LG automatic egg turner issues

I installed my LG auto egg turner inside my LG and the silver motor sticks out too far that I can't shut the lid properly. Has anyone had this problem? How did you solve it? I mean, the turner is made for this incubator how can it not fit???? I've been getting it all prepped and temps right and now I realize that its not shut all the way which screws up my temps and i can't set the eggs tonight like i planned

Is it lined up the right way where the cord is lined up with the notches in the Bator? Other than that I'm sorry I have no clue.
