Are the LG still air incubators supposed to have drain holes on the bottom? I am using one I borrowed from a friend. There is no manual with it. There are two seemingly even spaced holes where the water is leaking out. Is it because I overfilled the reservoir?

I have two eggs incubating in it. This is my first attempt at hatching and am anxious for an answer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yep. Those are air intake holes.

You might be able to find the manual online somewhere, google it. Happy Hatching!

Thank you youngbiddy and Ranchhand.

I put did put the water in the water reservoirs, but I must have overfilled them when I dribbled water in. What a relief...my mistake.
Hatching? Nerve wracking!

Good idea to google the manual. I'll do that.

Tell me about it, I've been a nervous wreck for the past 18 days.

Tips for using an LG.

1. Adding a heat sink like filling the bottom (don't cover the air holes) with aquarium rocks helps keep the temp stable.
2. Adding a fan really, really helps prevent big, potentially deadly temp swings. (I found one on eBay for $10)

This is a link to several videos on using an LG incubator ~ also at the bottom of the page you can download the actual manual in a PDF file.

I just found this for an almost new LG still air incubator with fan kit I picked up at a yard sale for $20. last summer!
