lice and fowl pox at the same time?

I've been looking at the pics all over the site..... it appears my chicken has both fowl pox and lice. my concern is the treating for the lice, dust bath and spraying and all that..... is there a risk to the chicken due to the scabs? wouldnt these lesions allow for some absorption level that might be too strong? Am I over thinking this?

If a scab or nodule were ripped off in some manner, there would be bleeding and there's a possibility of some absorption. I think the odds of that happening are low and would go ahead and dust your birds using sevin dust to get rid of the lice. Repeat dusting in 7-10 days, inside the coop as well.
