Lice on silkies?

Hi, I have white silkies and often they shed some kind of white, dandruff stuff. Is this lice.

If you look at the "dandruff" It will move if its lice. I dust mine with Livestock dust if they get lice or mites It seems to work well for me.

It's also normal for them to do this, especially when young. I use 5% Sevin garden dust, which is widely recommended. Here's some good pics of what you would see if they have lice / mites:

Chicken lice are not totally host specific!!! They love horses too!!!! Mine have caught them a few times from my chickens. That's usually how I know the birds have it cause the horses will itch horribly!!!!
