I need to build an 10 x 16 Woods coop & need to get it off the ground like the picture .
What side posts would be best for the job & would 3/4" plywood over 2x10 joist be a good choice?

Personally I think that would be sufficient amount of support.
Sideposts?? like those cement round ones in above pix? I would go with 8 inch round. Good to use a post hole digger and deep enough below frost line. Makes frost heaves unlikely. If you do end up with some ground settling, you can always jack up and shim things level.
WISHING YOU BEST.......... :thumbsup

Beam size will depend on how far apart the piers are, and the joist size will depend on the distance they are spanning.

Coop construction can be a little lighter than regular home/deck construction because it's not planned to carry as much weight. You still want a solid floor though.

For a 10x16, I would probably use two 16' long 4x8 beams set on three piers each. One on each end and in the middle. Beams 8' apart. Then use 2x8 joists on top of that. And 3/4 ply.
