i am going to get my first flock of 4 pretty soon and am getting a light brahma, black Australorp, buff Orpington, and another breed but I can't decide on my 4th breed!!! Can I have some suggestions on Breeds that are generally the same size?! And I need them to have a docile temperament around kids and good layers!

The Barred Rocks are just a feather coloration of the Plymouth Rock breed. Some can be bossy, but I think what can help is if you handle them a lot when you're raising them.
Ok any other suggestions

Easter Eggers are (typically) very sweet, but they're not as big as the large breeds you want. EEs are a normal-sized chicken unless they're bantam.
See they've gotta be the same size

Australorps, Orpingtons, and Brahmas are excellent choices where children are concerned as they are both calm and gentle breeds. My children and granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) made lap pets of both breeds. Other standard sized breeds that have a well deserved reputation for being calm and gentle (potential lap pets) include Cochins, Sussex, and Faverolles. If eggs are a priority, don't get Cochins as they are poor layers (although they are excellent brooders and mothers). Australorps are the best layers of the standard, brown egg laying breeds. Whatever fourth breed you decide to get, good luck with your flock.
