Light Brahma hackle feathers

My light Brahma is about 4 weeks old. I know it’s too early to tell for sure, but the hackle feathers are so much different than my other birds...is this just the way this breed feathers out or do I possibly have a rooster?

Much to early to say, especially for Brahmas. Post new pics in 6 weeks or so.

yes, much too young- Brahmas are slow developing.

Hackles look normal... but as said above, way too soon to sex. Give it some time.

My gut says pullet. But 8 weeks is still a little young to be 100% sure with Brahmas.

That’s what I’m guessing too. I’ll post updates again in a couple of weeks. This one has such a quirky personality I wish it came through in the pics!
