Light Brahmas gender question

Thanks for thinking of me, I'm in Ohio so a bit of a drive.

ITA, he's a beautiful roo, unfortunately I also have a very handsome EE roo that I wanted to keep. Until my Brahma pullets were killed yesterday (again, sob), I had hopes of breeding them in the future.

I am curious as to how old they are. I have a Light Brahma cross that I am trying to sex (on another post). So far most people think roo, but it doesn't have the pointy saddle feathers that yours have. But it's doing well with a red comb & wattle.

Thanks,
Nelli

OK, thanks. I guess I still have a ways to wait.

Btw, I am sorry that they both look like roos. I can totally relate to the disappointment and hoping that they are pullets. And I am REALLY sorry that your pullets were lost- how terribly sad.

I really wouldn't mind having a rooster.... What I mind is the crowing. My life is tough enough without having a rooster waking me up at 4:30AM. My 3 year old has that covered.
