I didn't even think about it until I read a post on here. This chicken is about 10 weeks old, and I'm thinking pullet because of the comb size. The only thing that make me think maybe roo is the light colored feathering on the breast.

What do you think?

At what point do the BR roos start developing the bigger combs? Maybe that will give me a clue.

Speckledhen, I almost just PM'ed you with this. I feel like you are the BR guru from what I've read

At this point, it looks more female going by comb alone at that age, but as I said, hard to say for certain when they are mixed. Most of the time, you know a BR male by color, but if you go by comb, they get them early on and they turn pink by maybe three to four weeks old.

I think it's a pullet.... at 10 weeks old, my crosses have combs. Mine are not BR cross for sure, but maybe are. BR and Duccle... and he has a pronounced comb!
