Hi I’m still kinda new to keeping chickens. I bought what I thought were 4 hens. But my light Sussex has turned out to be a rooster they are around a year old now and I need to find a new home for my rooster we’ve tried to keep him but he has started flogging us and I have small children who are very involved In the looking after of our chickens. I’m looking for someone with more experience than myself who will give him a chance he’s very protective of his girls and he’s a good boy at doing his job but can’t have this behaviour. Any help will be much appreciated I’m in Boldon south Tyneside.
