Light Sussex -Mixed lot - how many boys?

Two of these Buff Sussexes I think are boys. What do you think?


The one in the middle is the only one I'm sure is a girl. I also think the one on the right is a girl. The one on the left is most likely a boy.
The one on the very top is a puzzle. He/she has wattles, but the tail is starting to grow out straight. Very difficult to catch this one (not overly friendly or confident) which makes me think might be a girl after all? Here's a photo of the face,from the top and from the side:

We've sent the one on top back to the farm. He was anti-social anyway.
We kept the boy on the left to keep an eye on things while they come of age - manage the environment (cats) etc. Such a great chicken. Will be very sad to see him go when he starts to crow.

The one on the right we are keeping to see. So many people think , from photos, that it's a boy, but compared to the other 2 boys, comb is large, but not red. She's clucky, and large, so maybe just grown early. (fingers crossed)
