lighting in coop

Besides a heat lamp. should i in stall fluorescent light fixture. I know i can gat a warm and cool tube so it would act like the suns rays like having grow lights for plants. does anyone have lights in there coop? or would this be over kill. I want them(the chickens ) to be happy all winter. thankyou wendy

i do they are chistmas lights b/c i have no need for heat.
i turn them on when we have partys.
1. keeps them awake so the little ones can see them
2.lest people see them lol.
3.attacts flying free treats.
4.looks cool.
