I know the sides make it look like an iron clad warship but I put it up at night and if I leave for the day to discourage the occasional dog or cat that come to take a peek at my birds.

This is the type of coop that I started with, only the run was underneath it as I was limited on space and only had three hens. I loved it and it worked so well (until I got lots more chickens

Its a great idea, and I love the little tent over the top... royal birds having a chicki-picnic
