Lil Guineas not roosting

this is my first Guinea flock. They're about 5 or 6 weeks old and I let them out of their enclosed area this morning for the first time. From prior research I just assumed they would go back in of the evening. I went out to check after dark and they had bedded down on the ground next to my duck pen. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get them to roost, or have I let them out too early?

Guineas do not do well with change. Without any prior training, you should not have expected them to go back in the coop on their own. It is best to "help" them back into the coop before it gets dark. They do not do well going into a dark place. Some people leave a light on in the coop to help getting the guineas to go in.
