I noticed one of my chicks was limping last night. I checked her out and could find no obvious injury and she didn't complain or try to flee when I touched her legs but she continued to limp when I let her walk around again. This morning all chicks seem to be moving around normally.
I remember hearing a loud scuffle among the flock yesterday with lots of flapping and running around. Do you think it's possible that the chick could have bruised itself on the feeder or something? Kind of like when you whack your shin on something and you get that massive wave of pain a first but it calms down to a dull ache pretty quickly.
