I have an adult female coturnix quail, who originally had part of the top half of her beak come off. Then it grew back and seems to be growing back more than it should, her beak is very long. Yesterday when i was walking and holding her she got out of my hands and crash landed against the door and floor and she now has a limp. She also does not want to walk. What can i do to help her? I don't want to cull her. She just layed an egg in my lap.

Oh the poor thing. She will probably bounce back fast. Separate her first of all and keep food and water close.

I had a hen in a terrible fight with a roo, I didn't thnk she would live but in a few days she looked like it never even happened.

could it be her hip?

Possibly...
I don't feel her hip on the side it is on.

She is still laying eggs.
Thanks
