Hi, I have a precious pekin drake. He started out slightly limping (I am assuming he injured himself and then seemed to get better before getting worse again), and now he can barely stand on his leg. I have examined his foot, and see no abrasion or sign of infection. I have had him resting consistently for nearly two weeks, maybe a week and a half, but see no improvement physically...yet. His spirits seem better...he is back to wagging his tail and teasing/biting me. But again, I am concerned that he doesn't seem to show physical improvements. I would appreciate and and all advice as he is truly my feather baby. Thank you so much! I have attached images. Keep in mind he has mud and green Epsom salt poultice on his leg.

Is it able to be straightened parallel to his body? Does the leg feel unusually warm? Swollen? When you feel his legs does it feel like there is anything broken or dislocated?

Could you get a pic of him standing on his own? A side view instead of a more frontal view like the one above, and not so close so we can see exactly how he's holding it?
