Limping Turkey

We came home from vacation and our big guy was limping and now just laying around. There is no sign of bumblefoot anywhere. If we lift his tail feathers he will walk. Very weird. He was laying in the mud. Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

Any other turkeys? Sounds more like a strain or sprain. Hopefully he improves over time.

How old is he? What are you feeding him? Sometimes limping can be related to nutrition but I think that’s mostly in youngsters and he doesn’t look too young. But I could be wrong there. It may also effect older birds. Is he an RP?

On the feed is All Flock ok or is there a better feed for turkeys. We have been using all flock for our chickens and ducks, but we just got turkeys today

A good quality all flock is fine for adult turkeys.
