Linking two coops and a run

I have a henhouse and a brooder house. They are seperated by three feet.

I have my last 6 cornish x left in the brooder house and they have access to a portion of the run i section off. When they are gone and after a good cleaning, the small enclosure I have in the run for the cornish will be removed, and all the chickens will have access to the brooder house.

The chickens will "explore" the brooder house but return to the henhouse to lay and roost.

I do have issues when I try to move my laying pullets from the brooder house to the hen house and I close the brooder house because I have a new batch of chicks. The pullets will look and search and search some more at roosting time to find a way back into the brooder house. I will have to actually catch and put some of the pullets into the henhouse at dusk, they simply refuse to go in.
I generally only have to do this two or three days and they then get the idea where to roost.

Hope this helps.

I'm getting ready to link 3 of my coops and maybe my tractor with a common run for them to share. My plan is to only let one of the coops have access to the BIG run each day that way they don't get all mixed up with the other chickens so I can keep my breeds pure or with the other breeds I have them with. Also this way I'm thinking they will know which coop to come back to at the end of the day when it's time to go back to the roosts.
One coop has RIR's and Buff Orphs and one Delaware with a RIR Roo. The 2nd one has my Ameraucana & EE's plus 2 SLW with an EE Roo and a Black Australorp Roo. And the 3rd coop has 6 Turkey's and 7 Guineas in it.
I also have a tractor with my Phoenix in it so I may put that in the run also so I can let them out to run around in that BIG run when it's their turn. This new run will be about 75' x 100'
