so i’ve been hatching chicks under broody hens for about a year now and i’ve never had this happen before. i marked eggs 5 days ago and this morning decided to go out and candle them to see if any we developing. there happened to be the start of veins in a couple eggs but.. when i turned the eggs slightly, i could see a little bit of liquid and i’m wondering if the eggs stopped developing or if they’re rotten? and it’s happened to all of the eggs in the batch and i’m very confused. could it be from hot weather? and are they dead and becoming rotten?

On the outside of the eggs? Do they smell?

The yolk moves around inside of the albumen (egg white) which can create a liquid appearance.
