Liquid poop in 5 day old chicks?

My 6 and 5 day old hatchlings are having some pure liquid poops. I know all about adult chicken poop, but the last chicks I had I got at 8 days old abd my other chicks were raised by a broody so I never saw their poop. We currently have coffee grounds as bedding, could that be causing liquid poop? I'm going to clear out some of the coffee grounds abd lay some paper towels down so I can get a better look, but the 2 that I have seen poop, it looks like clear really thin mucous like when you sneeze.

I'm also reading some mixed stuff on if coffee grounds are a safe bedding choice for chicks. I might pull the grounds out and lay paper towels down for a bit.

Coffee is a diuretic for chickens too. Adult chickens know better than to eat too much. But chicks may have eaten some. I’d switch to wood or something else and see if there’s a difference.
