I picked up 3 2-year old "hens" (one of them is very clearly not a hen but I brought him home anyway) and 2 1-year old white babies from a guy off of craigslist and they are not looking so great. Ratty feathers, none of them have full crowns, a couple of missing toenails, 2 of them seem to be blinking their eyes excessively, and 3 of them are just droopy and depressed. I started them on safeguard yesterday and plan to keep them on it for 3 days and I'm putting poultry booster in their food. What else can I do to help them? I have Tylan 50 and 200,Agrimectin, Ivermectin pour-on, permethrin, vet rx, corid, and all-in-one.
(Side note-a facebook group recommends all-in-one for everything but it doesn't seem to be that effective-should I give these birds some anyway?) 20190126_095503.jpg 20190126_095449.jpg 20190126_095428.jpg 20190126_095409.jpg

Some of it might be moving to new quarters. I know my 2 SLW were kinda like that at first. And they were plenty lively when I took them out of their former coop. Took a while for them to come around and eat etc. Now they come right up to me to be petted and eat mealworms right out of my hand. I would still look for illness.

When I get new birds I start by giving them ivermectin for lice and mites *and* Safeguard or Valbazen for worms.

If I were you I would not give the the all in one of whatever it is.
