Somebody, somewhere probably already done this, I just couldn’t find it!! Lol
Anyways, everyone is always talking about a poo board in the coop. What a pain to scrap off sometimes. I sat there looking at it trying to think of a good safe solution, when the neighbors cat walked by, (about a second later my shepherd saw the cat, amazing how fast they move). Anyways, it dawned on me, a litter box!! I built a box, added sand, and scoop out daily. Sooooo much easier.

They can go up under, it’s about 1 1/2 ft. Up. It doesn’t catch EVERYTHING, but 97%of it.

There are plenty of threads on here about them. Search "poop board" on here, I just did and it shows 11,000 results.

Mine is 24" x 12' and has 1/2" or less of sweet PDZ in it. I scoop it every morning and put the poop in my compost bin. Some people don't care to use anything on the board. I like PDZ because it helps to keep the ammonia smell very low. My coop hardly has a smell, unless there is fresh cecal poops.
