litter from saw mill

Down the road from me is a saw mill. Do you think wood chips/sawdust would be ok for the flooor of the coop I would still use straw in nest boxes. The wood would be mistery wood. what ever they cut up

As long as none of the wood cut was cedar, then I would use it.
