Little bantam Naked Neck

I suspect boy but the comb and wattles aren't really pink yet, it's the face skin that's pink (redder when hot weather) so it's throwing me. Is lack of face feathers at this age indicative of anything? Also posting it's mother for comparison. It will have a pea comb not a single comb like her.
Baby is 5 weeks old. Hatch brothers (other breeds) already getting pink combs (see barred chick).
Genetics are Naked Neck mother (in pic) and Lavender Araucana father, so could it be bearded (i.e. no wattles) but with no actual beard?

What do you think- girl or boy?

This little one is growing and while her head skin is redder, her comb is still small and very pale so I'm hopeful. She isn't very friendly though. Pecks me like a rooster. When I feed her from my hand she goes for my fingers not the food! And I mean "goes for". Not like her mother who is ditsy and squawky but a sweetie.
