little boys or girls

i am trying to tell if i have male or female coturnix quail. i have 8 of them and trying to get a good mix to have lots of little babys

What color are they? If they are brown, golden, or cinnamon, the females will have spots on their breasts, the males' breasts are clear. If they are any other color, you have to vent sex them.
