Little confused on color and gender combo...

So the two black and buff chicks are the cross between a buff orpington rooster and black australorp hen. From what I read that cross should give you sexlink but one of them appears to be a male but has the coloration of a female black sexlink, the combs are completely different in size. Anyone have any idea why a male sexlink would be colored like a female or is it a female? All the chicks are 2 months old. Sorry for the picture if its not clear. Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure where you got the info that an Australorp hen would give sex links? You need a barred or cuckoo hen for black sex links, and a silver factor hen for red sex links.

I love the chocolaty coloration, that is unique. They kinda look like coffee beans.
