It's so frustrating

. Went into lockdown this morning, took out turner, candled eggs and now my temp has been at 96 all day. I finally started slowly adjusting it back up when I saw it wasn't going to on its own. Why would taking out the turner and adding water make such a difference? Just want to add that I candled 3 times this incubation, and each time the temp dropped but came back up on its own.

does it have a fan mine doesnt and the temps go crazy during lockdown anywhere from 90 to110 its the water i think though try adding hot water and see what happens

My 2 cents you took out a heat mass (turner) and it was also trying to warm up the water too.

I added fairly warm water to it, but maybe keeping it warm is the problem? Also I did take out the remaining red plug. Maybe the turned motor was generating heat too. Anyway thanks for you input, zebserema and DixieChickie.
