Serama, 11 months old, feels a bit on the thin side, comb is paler than normal. No mites, I checked carefully.
She is somewhat fluffed up, but walking, but not perky, seems to be drinking a lot of water, still eating, closes eyes often while standing, but is responsive.
Noticed that she seemed a bit "off" today 04/30
No recent diseases or other issues in my flock. Breathing sounds normal, no raspiness or sneezing, eyes are clear, nostrils are clear, crop is soft.
Poop is normal, I am introducing a new food, but mixing it with their normal food. She seems to be eating it well so far.
She has been laying regularly, I just got a normal egg from her this morning.
I brought her in the house at first sign, put her in isolation for observation, added vitamins & electrolytes to her water.
I have antibiotics on hand, just not sure if this sounds like situation where they would be useful.
Any thoughts?
