Cap'n nasty has just earned himself a vacation at freezer camp. I have three roosters, and I absolutely hate this little guy. He's an OEGB mix, he's horrible to my two big sweet roos. He just managed to injure Tufts (a big sweetie) somehow. There's no blood, but Tufts is kinda limping. I've resisted eating Cap'n Nasty because he's so pretty, and because I'm a softie, but I have to face facts! It's getting on towards springtime, I hope to have a broody or two, and I don't want stringy little bantam genes in my lines. I want Godzilla's and Tuft's giant sweet chicken genes in this year's chicks.
Grr. Angry and slightly guilty. Repeats to self: these are food animals.
