We found out last night what has been killing/taking off with my birds: chickens, my 16-20 pound cochin rooster, turkey hens, and ducks. A bobcat.

Will a live cage that is sized for fox be large enough for it to fit in? And would it hold the cat?

Incase anyone wants to know if I have tried other things:: I have called all the wild animal removers, trappers, etc. listed in the phone books. No one will do it. Conservation people say they won't do anything (live trap or move it from the area). I can not find anyone at all who will do anything.

I can not take losing any more birds, plus I am worried about my small dogs that are let out to go bathroom during the night. I do have up a 6 foot chain link fence, but it gets chickens off it that roost there. And it even killed a turkey that I had left inside the fenced yard. It had to have gotten over the fence and back out, so it could get to my dogs inside the fence.

Depending upon the size of the cat, it should be large enough. One enticement that cats have trouble resisting is the lure of a live prey animal. One of the compartment type traps with a 'safe' prey container generally proves to be irresistible. If successful, SSS. Relocation is always a bad idea - especially in the case of cats who have a large home range and excellent 'homing' instincts. Good luck at eliminating this problem.
