I wish there was as they are growing in number and it's starting to bug me a bit. I know if we put them on ignore it would work but that's a lot of nice kids/people I'd not want to ignore.

I joked yesterday about buying some small sticky notes to paste all over my computer screen to cover them. :gig

Many thanks. If they are nice kids/people, perhaps they will respond to a moderator having a quiet word in their ears about avatars that demand attention being a bit like screaming toddlers in a supermarket. In the meantime, I can live without reading what they have to say. They're giving me a headache.

Is it possible for a member like me to flick a switch somewhere to turn off avatars that jump and flash for attention? Will ignoring the owners of such avatars work?
Yes, clicking the ignore button on their profile page will hide their avatar.

We already knew that but trying to avoid having to ignore dozens of nice folks.

I tried to see if a particular forum that they're posting in could be ignored at least, but I couldn't see a way. Happen to know if we can do that?
