I've never been to a livestock auction before. There is one at the Orange County Fair on 7/22 and the website says:
Watch as local youth competitors showcase their livestock entries during the annual Junior Livestock Auction. Orange County 4-H and FFA members will auction their award-winning market swine, broilers, calves, goats, beef, rabbits, lambs and turkeys to raise funds for future educational endeavors.
By "broilers" they mean chickens, right? Wondering if these might include hens to add to my flock???
