Local Farm offering classes on processing for $50

A craigslist ad advertised a class on processing your chickens for $50 per person. For that you get to see how it's done, have lunch, and take a bird home with you to cook, with a recipe book. Thought that was an innovative idea.

What a neat idea! I would be will to help anybody around me with butchering their poultry, I feel its something everybody should know.

I've actually thought of doing a tour of this type and travelling to areas to show interested groups how to do this....anyone interested?

We just did our first ones, three excess roosters, and I would gladly have paid someone to teach me how to do it. The "learning experience" took most of the day, even after watching all the helpful videos people here have posted.
