I am in Dade City and looking for a local processor for my meat chickens. Would appreciate any help locating same. Am also looking for standard Cornish chicks not crossed.
Thanks

Dade City. I assume that is in the US. If not, most of this won't apply.

As Parront mentioned, chatting with your neighbors on your state thread is usually a good idea.

Call your County Extension office. There is a fairly good chance they can help.

Your local health department may know who they have inspected and approved to process chickens.

Chat with people at the feed store.

Can you find a local social media group, like a facebook group, that talks about chickens or maybe farming?

Standard Cornish are more challenging than the Cornish X. Again assuming you are in the US.

Call your County Extension office. There is a chance they can help. It would be lucky but they are often associated with chicken shows at county fairs so they may have contacts.

Check hatcheries that ship chicks. Not all of them have standard Cornish but some do.

Join this group and ask them.

I could not find a Cornish Breeders Club at the American Poultry Association's website.
