My coop will be located in my garden (old clay tennis court) in a "corner". The corner is not actually 90 degrees. The "corner" is sort of cut off. I was thinking of making the coop in the section that is cut off so the coup would end up being a triangle shape. I need 24 square feet for the six chickens so it should work out just right as far as sq. ft. per bird. Do you think that a triangular coop would work? The run would be rectangular and would have about 82 sq. ft. which includes the area under the coop!

It sounds like you have put alot of thought into it.
I like the idea it will be up and the chickens can rest under it.
They do not care the shape of it......
