I have 3 duck eggs day 23. When I put one to my ear I hear pecking at the shell, so I am guessing he is starting to pip? Just wondering when they start how long does it take them to make the little hole? because two of the eggs were moving a lot. One of the eggs moving when I listen to that one at my ear, I can feel movement but no pecking or anything so i turned that one and the other one that I don't hear anything either. And also the egg that is pecking, he is starting to pip,right? if he is pecking. And Should i raise the humidity now while he is pecking. Actually i have water in one bowl and added some water to the other bowl. The other eggs are moving so do you think it will be ok if I raise the humidity? And should I keep turning the other's if i don't hear pecking from them or is it bad to open the incubator to turn them when one is pecking at the egg? please help! Also the one pecking, I can hear the pecking from outside the incubator and the egg is moving a little too. Is it normal for it to take a really long time to finally get a little hole in the egg. I asked already but ya, how long does it take usually to pip?
