lock down in a brooder box?

I have two sets of eggs in my incubator. One set was put in a week earlier than the other. I was told not to open the incubator for any reason during lock down which means I can't turn the later set of eggs during that time. I really don't want to buy another incubator for lock down if I don't have to. Can I use my brooder box? Any other suggestions?
