Lockdown and HELP! Day 19

I have a LG (w/o fan). I want to try the egg cartoon trick but i wont. Would it work if i put paper towels or a towel. im scared they'll bumb into each other and play soccer. I have 46 out of 50 that made it. Its a bit cramped so...

wat should i do?

I cant wait till they hatch

also i dont know what the humidity is but the chambers are filled and the temperature is 99.5 to 100 degrees.

Be sure to open the ventilation vents as they pip-that's when they need way more oxygen.

I use the LG but I don't put as many eggs in; only 10-12 at a time so yeah, they play football with the eggs. I remove the chicks after a several hours. QUick in out. I don't think I have enough experience to give you good answers. GL

I already opened the vetilation red caps off. is that fine?

I had heard of someone mentioning using a wet towel over the opening to grab the dried chicks to put them in the brooder. Quick grab and go, you may need another hand with all of those guys!

I like to use that plastic rubbery feeling shelf liner stuff. It's cheap and disposable and keeps things relatively calm in there during hatch.

Don't worry, they will hatch. I felt the same way my first time but it all works out. Those little chicks are tougher than you think and if they made it this far then you should be fine. I'm not saying they all will hatch but you never know. Good Luck!!!

so the temp went to 103

i dont know why? then i lowered came back and it went to 90. Whats wrong. It drizzled a bit for 5 min. ( not kidding one second it was raining the next it wasnt)
