Hi all

First batch in Brinsea Advance 56 and I cannot seem to raise humidity greater than 58%. It’s in lockdown day 19 and I have both inlet water trays full and vent on minimum (per instruction manual, to raise humidity).

Questions

1) is 58% high enough for chicks.

2) any further tips or advice on raising humidity?

Thanks

are you hatching waterfowl ?
40% is enough for chickens. higher won't hurt any..
you should have done a practice run for a day or two before setting the eggs. then you would know the capabilities of the incubator..
