I just want to make sure I do this right since I am pretty sure I only have 1 survivor. I have an LG Still Air incubator, the 3 eggs are in an egg carton with the bottoms cut out for better circulation. My temp is finally consistent at 101. Tomorrow morning they go into lockdown. I need to raise the humidity right? We live in a dry climate so I am hoping that I can keep it up enough. What about the 2 vent plugs, they are both out now, do I put one or both back in? Thanks from this crazy newbie! I know I am going to be completely insane about this!

I keep one in and one out.

I have tried them both out but it changes all my settings.

Wet rags close to the unplugged air vent , straw to add water as needed don't use boiling water it will change your temp.
I use room temp water......keep it at or close to 70% if you can, and add as many rags or paper towels as you can around the edges.

Like this you should see hatching on day 19 - day 20 so dont get worried if some come before day 21. It is normal it is also normal for some to come after 21st day.

Since you live in a dry climate, I'd put one plug back in to lax the loss of humidity. Put water in the trays... (the outer ones) and stick a flower shaped paper towel in the water. Basically, just bunch it up. Be ready with aquarium tubing amd lukewarm water in case it drops. If it does, put some water in your mouth and tube the water to the paper towels in the bottom of the incubator and good luck!!
