Lockdown Humidity with a Brinsea Octogon 20 Advance

Ok, I give up. What's the trick to getting the lockdown humidity to 65% and keeping it there? Both wells are full. It is slowly rising. I used room temperature water. Even if it manages to crawl to 65 (which i doubt) how am I going to keep it there without opening the lid for lockdown?

Adding some cloth/kitchen towel to the wells can help. It wicks the water and creates more surface of water therefore increasing your humidity. Check out the pics in this link ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...ith-these-different-brands/0_30#post_14379266
