Lockdown on Welsummers and BCM from bargain!

These are my birthday present to myself. She sent 3 BCM and (I believe) 7 welsummers, 2 BCM and 6 Welsummers have made it to the hatcher! They all look 'full', but my light is being a pain in the patooky, so I can't see veins in these at all!

Here's hoping that they all hatch!!

Nothing yet, but they aren't due till tomorrow. Plus I haven't checked them in a while, I'll go look

Good luck on your hatch! Mine were due today and I haven't seen pip's yet. I set the 21 days ago late into the evening. Think they might hatch tomorrow?

One of them has hatched today, nothing on the rest yet

I *think* the one that hatched is one of the marans? But I'm not sure. The chick is mostly black with a bit of white under its chin and on its wing tips. I candled the eggs last night, since there was no action and yesterday was hatch day. I didn't see any that had pipped the membrane, and some of the welsummers looked like late quitters

Hopefully I'll get more than one hatch, I hate really dark eggs!

But I have some babies that are about 5 or 6 days old in a brooder (mostly bantams) that this one can go with, so at least it won't be lonely
