Lockdown Question

How do you position your eggs for lockdown? I have seen where some people leave them in an egg carton so that the egg doesn't roll and I have seen some just lay them on their side in the hatcher. I would like to know what you do and why you do what you do.

I leave mine in the hatching tray - vertical position, and move the tray to the hatcher.

Less messing around.

I don't use a separate hatcher. But I do prefer to use the cut down egg cartons all the way through incubation and hatching.

the reason why i went to the egg trays is because the eggs didn't roll around as much.
