lockdown is the last 3 days 19-21. That is when you stop turning the eggs and bump up the humidity.

In these last 3 days, the chick will absorb the yoke, turn towards the air cell and start hatching.

Yeah, lockdown is when you stop turning the eggs 3 days prior to hatch day. You do this so that the chick can position itself to hatch. That is not easy for the chick to do if the eggs are being turned.
