I know I am suppose to go on lockdown on day 18... But what does that exactly mean??? Do they need to be turned? When they hatch, how long do/can they stay in the incubator?

Day 18 (Lockdown) means don't open the incubator, don't turn the eggs, and raise the humidity. Read more at the learning center tab at top of page or post here for more help. :)

What if one chick hatches, but the others haven't yet?? Do I just leave it in there? How long can it stay in there? And I've been reading about putting damp paper towels underneath the eggs, to help with humidity. Is that okay? Any luck/tried that before?

If the other eggs don't hatch today I'd take the chick out but leave the eggs. Some take longer than others. The humidity should be about 65% during hatch time so try not to open the incubator. Any pips at all?
